A quick history lesson regarding our current microwave, which we’ve had since we moved back from the UK eight years ago. Firstly, I have vivid memories of that one time we had a cockroach infestation in Joburg (don’t judge, the building was old!) and you could actually see one of those critters crawling over the little electronic numbers that light up in the timer. Anyhoo, never one to waste still-working machinery, we got that thing cleaned up and have been using it ever since (up until last week when we passed it on to someone else). 20 Years of Giving Back with MySchool

This blog has allowed me some incredible opportunities, but one of the most rewarding has been my recent introduction to MySchool and the relationships and community work that I’ve become involved in because of it. Let me explain.

Earlier this year MySchool approached me about attending an event at Litha Primary School in Gugulethu and what I saw there convinced me, more than anything, that I wanted to sign up to the MySchool program right there and then.
